Letter from Community Service Council to Community Partners

Community Partners,

Melanie Poulter

Recently you may have seen or heard about a document that has been generating quite a bit of discussion and interest across Tulsa. The Tulsa Equality Indicators is a product of the Community Service Council’s data and innovations work team, commissioned by the City of Tulsa and advised by the City University of New York – as part of the Rockefeller Foundation’s Resilient Cities strategy. If you have not yet seen it, you can easily do so at here at https://www.tulsaei.org.

The Community Service Council is very proud of this work and of the historical relevance it will have to Tulsa for many years and decades to come. Annually self-scoring our city, using 54 highly reliable equity indicators, is critically important to those stakeholders who are interested in what our community is – and what it can be.

We would like to offer you and your organization an opportunity to learn more about Tulsa’s Equality Indicators by creating space and time for our staff members to present the incredibly engaging, highly informative, deep dive into this work. We are interested in sharing this data and analysis across the entire city, and we believe your organization might find it of great value as you look toward Tulsa’s future together with others who possess this foundational information.

Please let us know by reaching out to Tulsa Equality Indicators via email at tulsaequalityindicators@csctulsa.org if you would be interested in scheduling a presentation to your colleagues, organization, board or stakeholders. This timely information will be valuable and important for all of us. We look forward to seeing you soon.
